'Democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people.' Abraham Lincoln

Sometimes we look at the past to try to find some answers for today's problems.
At this post I remembered Abraham Lincoln definition of democracy that was taken from one of his speeches.
This is a project by University of Pennsylvania at Second Life that recreated Abrahan Lincoln's memorial.
The project has more but now I would only like to remember:
'Democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people.'* Abraham Lincoln*
and also the expression "New Birth of Freedom" that also at the speech.
"...these dead shall not have died in vain..."
It is a lot to reconsider. Hope the world and America is ready for that.

First post: The Lady of Shalott

"She left the web, she left the loom,
She made three paces through the room,
She saw the water-lily bloom,
She saw the helmet and the plume,
She look'd down to Camelot.
Out flew the web and floated wide;
The mirror crack'd from side to side;
"The curse is come upon me," cried
The Lady of Shalott."

I believe you all know Tennyson's "The Lady of Shalott" if you're an English native-speaker cause it must be at school's lists of "what students cannot leave high school without knowing".
Why another blog? I don't know. I just think I need a secluded place. Thus... Shallot.
