Being in touch with children

The eency weency spider went up the water spout,
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun that dried up all the rain,
And the eency weency spider climbed up the spout again

We have to enter their world from time to time cause they spend most of theirs watching us and trying to make sense of what is happening high over their heads and it is amazing how much they understand even thou only later they will be able to name what they are witnessing.
Efficacious ways to reach them are by music, fairy tales, children stories, images, drawing, words are part of many languages that make it easy to connect with children. Speaking to their imagination.

My son has such an understanding of things that I would not think he would at his age. Kids are smart and they listen when you think they are not... Books and music and imagination are very important parts of growing up!

hi ana, these days and during my days too, i noticed childeren learnt very fast through singing.

They can remember all the lyrics even though they do not understand a word, because the songs are in english (not our mother tongue)

I was exposed to American and English music since my childhood and it helped a lot. Young Japanese and Chinese are also listening to songs in English and they are talking better than their parents.
It is very good.
